StatSheet is now projecting Creighton to be a seven seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Bluejays are currently on track for an automatic bid, but don't need it to retain the invite as they're the #17 team in the AP Poll and sit at #14 in the StatSheet StatRank. They have a 21-3 overall record and an 11-2 record in the Missouri Valley.
During its last four games, Creighton looked solid with wins against Illinois State, Bradley, and Drake but also dropped one against RPI #51 Northern Iowa.
Creighton is tough against strong competition, with an 8-3 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 4-2 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-0 record against AP ranked teams. The Bluejays boast three quality wins including RPI #27 Wichita State, RPI #36 Northwestern, and AP #13 San Diego State with no bad losses.
